I am an art teacher who specializes in old master-style oil painting. My passion lies in guiding students of all ages and abilities to use the practice of observational painting to connect with the world around and within. With decades of training in classical techniques, I find great fulfillment in passing on these tradition rich methods, in ways that are accessible to all.

Observational painting is often a personal and contemplative pursuit, yet it is far from solitary in my studio. Guidance, encouragement, and community come together to help each artist grow.

Regardless of age or experience, I believe anyone can be taught to slow down, see more deeply, and refine their abilities. The process may be challenging, but the journey is rewarding, and those rewards transcend the classroom as the connection to both art and life grows stronger with each brushstroke.
