A few years ago I had a dream that I was a whale. In the dream I kept breaching and slamming my massive body down onto the water and saying in my head I am so happy to be alive. It was a feeling of absolute joy and glee. I chose to do a whale for this reason. I initially had the words I am so happy to be alive in the art work and felt it didn’t read how it felt. I changed the words to La Vie Est Belle because it felt closer to the spirit of the dream.

I have gotten a Cricut and will be printing this on to a T shirt for my daughter.

I enjoyed doing this project. It was nice to revisit this whale dream. And I am super excited to learn how to use a Cricut. We have been wanting one in my house for years. Just the nudge I needed 🙂
Got the Cricut. Was quite intimidated but made it happen.
Proudly printed it and got the excess iron-on peeled away.
Et Voila! The world is our oyster 🙂 and indeed La Vie Est Belle! Looking forward to trying some different colors, materials and designing more.
